My favorite time of year is autumn in New Hampshire. Experiencing a New Hampshire autumn should be on everyone’s bucket list! In autumn, New Hampshire is famous for the glorious foliage as billions of leaves change from green to a kaleidoscope of colors. The air is crisp and cool — perfect for hiking, biking or a leisure drive along back roads. Stop and take a break where farm stands are piled high with crunchy apples and orange pumpkins.

In the beautiful Lakes Region, you can stand on the top of several local mountain peaks to catch a panoramic view of Lake Winnipesauke. Cruise the big lake on the M/S Mount Washington or go on an adventure with one of our kayaks, peddle boat, or paddle boards right off our own sandy beach. With mountains as a backdrop, the foliage seems to wrap around the lake from all angles. All throughout the Lakes Region you will find areas covered with endless unspoiled scenery.

If you haven’t yet joined our family, now is the perfect time to plan your first trip to New Hampshire. Hurry and book soon for the upcoming autumn season as we have put together some exciting and affordable lodging packages such as our Fall Into Romance and Romantic Lakeside Retreat.

After a full day of adventure, head back to the Inn to enjoy several nearby eateries, distilleries and breweries. Afterwards, relax in our outdoor lakeside hot tub or just enjoy a glass of wine lakeside by the fire pit before retiring in the comfort of your own king or queen sized bed. Get a great night’s rest and in the morning enjoy our continental breakfast to get you ready for another amazing day.

Autumn in New Hampshire, together with you, is our best time of year. Put fall in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region on your bucket list and get away with us.

Thank you,
Denis Longchamps
