10 Nov Center Harbor Inn’s Winter Ahead 2023
“Winter is a season unto itself.”
The winter weather forecasts are in, hold onto your ski hats for these predictions. AccuWeather is predicting nor’easters stretching from late January through February for the New England region, which is when cities in the northeast along the I-95 corridor, including Boston, could see “hefty snow amounts.” The season is predicted to have a stormy end with a prolonging ski season, across the Appalachians.
The Farmers’ Almanac is predicting blizzard conditions in northern New England as early as December 2023. Meanwhile, its rival publication, the Old Farmer’s Almanac is forecasting a “snowy, but mild winter in the northeast”.
So, there you have it, straight from the weather experts! No matter how the experts ultimately predict their forecasts, it all sounds like winter to me and it’s coming our way no doubt! So, this is my thought about all these predictions, let winter decide on what winter will look like when it gets here, just be ready.
Winter is certain to bring snow, ice, anxiety, and even great expectations along with it. You can approach winter as a withdrawal for the sake of preservation and a time of renewal and anticipation for the calmer seasons that will follow, or you can get out your shovels, skis, and snow toys and get ready to hit winter head on.
Whether you’re chillin’ or thrillin’ this winter season, think about planning a trip to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire to be our guest at the Center Harbor Inn. If you are looking to capture your winter renewal and self-preservation or just thinking about coming out to hit this season head on, I encourage you to visit our SPECIAL WINTER LODGING DEALS, where I can predict with certainty, you will find one to fit your nature.
Add to your visit a relaxing and soothing soak in our outdoor hot tub under the stars overlooking the snowy harbor or partake in a toasty indoor sauna experience. At twilight’s end, retire to the comfort of your own King or Queen size bed for a great winters’ night sleep. Join us each morning for a hearty winter breakfast, with our compliments of course, before setting out to enjoy another amazing day in the snow.
Experience some of the Lakes Regions premiere eateries, brew houses, distilleries, and wineries all around town. Take a stroll onto quaint Main Streets and visit Antique Shops, Old Country General Stores, Cafés and more while you are visiting the region.
The staff and I can’t wait to share part of this winter season with you.
