My favorite time of year is autumn in New Hampshire. Experiencing a New Hampshire autumn should be on everyone’s bucket list! In autumn, New Hampshire is famous for the glorious foliage as billions of leaves change from green to a kaleidoscope of colors. The air is crisp and cool — perfect for hiking, biking or a leisure drive along back roads. Stop and take a break where farm stands are piled high with crunchy apples and orange pumpkins.
In the beautiful Lakes Region, you can stand on the top of several local mountain peaks to catch a panoramic view of Lake Winnipesauke. Cruise the big lake on the M/S Mount Washington or go on an adventure with one of our kayaks, peddle boat, or paddle boards right off our own sandy beach. With mountains as a backdrop, the foliage seems to wrap around the lake from all angles. All throughout the Lakes Region you will find areas covered with endless unspoiled scenery.
